Cataloochee Valley:
The scenic Cataloochee Valley is located within the eastern edge of The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, in western North Carolina.
This past Fall, I made three trips there to observe and photograph the resident Elk herd during rutting season.
Previously, I have posted images from my first two visits.
I finally have had the opportunity to review the photographs from my third visit to the Cataloochee Valley, made on October 11, 2021.
I’d like to devote my next four posts to some of my favorite images from this outing.
I’ll present the photos in chronological order, as the day progressed.
