A Little California Birding:
I did a little birding during our daily outings on our recent California trip.
In particular, I enjoyed observing and photographing the many squadrons of Brown Pelicans cruising all along this portion of the West Coast.

California Visit:
Several days ago, my wife and I returned from a great week-long visit with our son, Julian, who lives in Palo Alto, CA.
In addition to enjoying visiting with Julian, this was our first opportunity to meet Julian’s dog, Kelly.
Julian and Kelly were excellent hosts!
Together, we went on several day trips along the coast, ranging as far north as Stinson Beach, and as far south as Big Sur.
Beach visits were emphasized, because Kelly especially loves exploring beach environments.
Today, I’d like to share several of my favorite images of Kelly. As you will see, she is a beautiful animal:
