The Olympics Are Winding Down:
The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games are racing towards their conclusion.
I anticipate that, after this weekend, I will begin posting online on a more regular basis.
In the meantime, a pair of Red-shouldered Hawks continues to hang out in our yard!
Today, I’d like to share a few shots of the hawks from yesterday, February 17, 2022.
The first seven images are of Mama Red-shouldered Hawk. The last three photos are of Papa Red-shouldered Hawk.
Enjoy!
Stay safe, and have a great day!

Back Home:
Last Wednesday, February 2, 2022, I returned home from an excellent 12 day trip to the Baja Sur State of Mexico.
The trip comprised four mornings of topside Humpback Whale watching/photography, in the Sea of Cortez and the eastern Pacific Ocean near Cabo San Lucas, and a week of scuba diving/underwater photography in the Socorro Islands (Revillagigedo Archipelago), located approximately 200 miles south of Cabo San Lucas.
It was the first time that I had been on an airplane, or had seen or had been in the ocean since late March of 2020!
What a treat it was to have an opportunity to take this trip! It was exactly what my body and soul needed, having endured two years of the Covid-19 pandemic!
Since returning home, I have spent much of my time viewing the Winter Olympics on television. Following the conclusion of the Olympics, I intend to review images from my recent trip, and to post a representative sample online.
Stay tuned!
In the meantime, I’d like to share several images of a pair of Red-tailed Hawks, which graced our yard once again on February 5th. Hopefully, they plan to nest once more in our woods this year.
We’ll see!
Enjoy!
Stay safe, and have a great day!
