Caldwell Station Creek Greenway Rockstar Raptor:
This past Thursday morning, November 18, 2021, I visited Caldwell Station Creek Greenway for the first time, with a congenial small group from the Mecklenburg Audubon Society.
During this lovely late Fall morning walk, we encountered 27 different avian species!
My favorite photographic subject was a very cooperative and photogenic Cooper’s Hawk.
As the weekend draws to a close, I’d like to share several images of this sleek and intense accipiter.
Enjoy!
Stay safe, and have a great day!
