Back To Pee Dee National Wildlife Refuge:

On February 3rd, I returned to Pee Dee National Wildlife Refuge, which is located 60 miles east of my home.

It was a crisp, sunny day.

As usual, it was a fun visit!

I particularly enjoyed the challenge of photographing flocks of skittish, overwintering waterfowl.

For your viewing pleasure today, I’d like to share an initial set of images from this outing:

Four photographs of Ring-necked Ducks; Eastern Phoebe; two shots of a Savannah Sparrow; and three images of American Coots, (which were by far the least skittish waterfowl species that I encountered).

Enjoy!

Stay safe and have a great day!
