“Little Brown Jobs (LBJ’s)”:

I am still far from a skilled birder. My photographic ability easily outstrips my birding skills. However, through frequent repetition and practice, I am slowly getter better.

I particularly struggle with identifying “Little Brown Jobs (LBJ’s)” like Sparrows. But I keep trying and learning with each outing!

In that vein, I’d like to feature White-throated Sparrows in today’s shared images from my December 22nd visit to Clarks Creek Nature Preserve:

Three photographs of White-throated Sparrows; Brown Thrasher; American Goldfinch; and three photos of a Red-shouldered Hawk.

Enjoy!

Stay safe and have a great day!
