Clarks Creek Nature Preserve

Other Clarks Creek Subjects:

In addition to Monarch Butterflies, I photographed several avian subjects during my October 15th visit to Clarks Creek Nature Preserve.

Here are a few images of these birds, which I would like to share today:

Two photographs of a Northern Mockingbird; Song Sparrow; Eastern Phoebe; two images of Field Sparrows; and a Brown Thrasher.

I have fun photographing Northern Mockingbirds and Brown Thrashers because they exude personality and ATTITUDE!

Enjoy!

Stay safe and have a great day!

Monarchs Invade Clarks Creek Nature Preserve!

When I visited Clarks Creek Nature Preserve on October 15, 2020, Mother Nature provided a special surprise. Hundreds of Monarch Butterflies were fluttering about, presumably on a refueling stop during their impressive annual southward migration!

Today, I’d like to share several images of these Monarchs from this memorable recent morning.

Enjoy!

Stay safe and have a great day!
