McDowell Nature Preserve:
A couple of days ago, April 25, 2024, I spent a beautiful sunny morning birding alone on the Piedmont Prairie Trail at McDowell Nature preserve, about a 25 minute drive from our home.
It was a fun and productive outing, during which I encountered several “cooperative” and photogenic birds.
I’ll share some of my favorite images from this walk today, and in two subsequent posts.
