Lower McAlpine Creek Greenway:
Yesterday morning, Tuesday, September 6, 2022, I went birding with a convivial Mecklenburg Audubon Society group at our local Lower McAlpine Creek Greenway, only a 15-minute drive from our home.
The somewhat cooperative stars of the show were several different Flycatcher/Gnatcatcher species.
Here are a few of my favorite images from this outing:
