August 14, 2022:
Backyard White-tailed Fawn:
The White-tailed Fawn that I observed and photographed last week, appears to be living in our woods.
Mama Deer makes occasional visits by leaping over the fence that surrounds our woods.
It is likely that the Fawn is not yet able to jump over the fence.
So we suspect that it may have been born in our yard.
In any case, the Fawn and I played hide-and-seek for about twenty minutes early this afternoon, August 14, 2022.
