McAlpine Creek Park

McAlpine Creek Park Reprise:

Today, I would like to share several additional photos from my March 29th visit to McAlpine Creek Park, featuring Northern Rough-winged Swallows.

With their fast and unpredictable flying patterns, as they hunt insects just above the water’s surface, these small birds are a challenge to photograph in flight:

Three shots of Northern Rough-winged Swallows; Pied-billed Grebe; Red-bellied Woodpecker; two images of Yellow-rumped Warblers; two photos of a Great Blue Heron; and a Double-crested Cormorant.

Enjoy!

Stay safe and have a great day!
