McAlpine Creek Park

A Glimmer of Hope:

With the news of very promising early results for the efficacy of two vaccines versus the novel coronavirus, the last few days have provided us with a glimmer of hope for happier days ahead!

Once widely deployed, such vaccines perhaps will enable us to quell the Covid-19 pandemic by next Summer. Fingers crossed. We’ll see!

In the meantime, we must be patient, and we can’t let our guard down! We need to adhere to all recommended public health guidelines, in order to slow down the current rapid spread of this virus!

So, with positive thoughts in mind, today I would like to share a final set of images from my November 2nd visit to McAlpine Creek Park:

Five photographs of a Belted Kingfisher on the prowl; two images of Mallards; and three pictures of always photogenic Cedar Waxwings.

Enjoy!

Stay safe and have a great day!
