Pee Dee National Wildlife Refuge Flooded

October 24, 2020:

Due to heavy rains in the preceding days, when I returned to the Pee Dee National Wildlife Refuge on October 14, 2020, portions of the refuge were flooded, somewhat limiting access.

Nonetheless, it was a beautiful sunny day, and I enjoyed Mother Nature, free of any Covid-19 concerns.

Here are a few images from this outing for you to peruse:

Andrews Pond; Flooded Boardwalk at Sullivan Impoundment; three photographs of Red-headed Woodpeckers; Pied-billed Grebe; Eastern Phoebe; Northern Mockingbird; and two images of a juvenile Red-tailed Hawk.

Enjoy!

Stay safe and have a great day!
