Yesterday morning, April 20, 2024, I once again participated in a PhotoWILD Event at the Carolina Raptor Center!
This is a great opportunity for a small group of imagers to photograph numerous avian residents of the Carolina Raptor Center (CRC), presented outside of their enclosures by the expert CRC staff!
Two weeks ago I purchased my first mirrorless camera, a Nikon Z8.
The PhotoWILD Event was one of my first chances to try out this new camera.
I wasn’t disappointed with the results!
Here are several of my favorite images from yesterday morning:
Two photos of a Black Vulture in flight; English Barn Owl; Red-tailed Hawk; American Kestrel; Mississippi Kite; and a Great Horned Owl.
