More From Jackson Park:
On this first day of Fall, I’d like to share a few of my favorite images from our September 18, 2021, afternoon walk at Jackson Park in Hendersonville, NC:
Two photos of a Canada Warbler; Ruby-throated Hummingbird; Great Crested Flycatcher; Red-shouldered Hawk; Yellow-throated Warbler; Downy Woodpecker; Eastern Wood-Pewee; and two shots of a Palm Warbler.
Enjoy!
Stay safe, and have a great day!

Jackson Park:
This past Saturday, September 18, 2021, I drove 110 miles to Jackson Park, located in Hendersonville, NC, to spend the day birding with a small group from the Mecklenburg Audubon Society.
It was well worth the drive!
As usual, virtually everyone in the group was a more experienced and skilled birder than I.
Thanks to their expertise, during the course of morning and afternoon walks, we encountered a total of 63 avian species!
Today, I would like to share several of my favorite images from our morning walk:
Five photos of Northern Parulas; a female Black-throated Blue Warbler; Eastern Phoebe; two shots of an Eastern Wood-Pewee; and a Great Crested Flycatcher.
Enjoy!
Stay safe, and have a great day!
