Six Mile Creek Greenway

September 10, 2021:

Early Morning Thunderstorms:

Early this Wednesday morning, September 8, 2021, a line of thunderstorms swept through Charlotte, NC, bringing us a little much-needed rain.

Late morning, once the storms had passed through, I visited our local Six Mile Creek Greenway.

The ambient light wasn’t great, and it was fairly quiet bird-wise.

Nonetheless, it was nice to get out and stretch my legs!

For you to enjoy, here are a few images from this outing:

American Redstart (Male); American Redstart (Female); Eastern Gray Squirrel; Black and White Warbler; a pair of Northern Cardinals; and a Yellow-bellied Slider Turtle.

Stay safe, and have a great weekend!
