What A Difference A Day Makes:

Virtually overnight, our new President, Joseph R. Biden, has reinitiated America’s constructive engagement with the rest of the World!

What a breath of fresh air!

An onerous weight has been lifted off of our Nation and the World!

To sweeten your day even a little more, I would like to share a final group of images from my January 13th visit to McAlpine Creek Park:

Downy Woodpecker; two photographs of a Northern Mockingbird; Chipping Sparrow; Red-bellied Woodpecker; two images of Yellow-rumped Warblers; Eastern Phoebe; Song Sparrow; and an American Goldfinch.

A Great Day For America:

Today has been a great day for America!

Despite the angst and chaos of the past few weeks, months, and years, our nation managed to accomplish a PEACEFUL TRANSITION of power!

In addition, our first female Vice President was sworn into office!

As I bask in the afterglow of today’s epic events, I would like to share another set of images from my pleasurable January 13th visit to McAlpine Creek Park:

Two photographs of Double-crested Cormorants; three images of Great Blue Herons; a photo of a Great Blue Heron and a Great Egret; another image of the Great Egret; and three photographs of Tufted Titmice.

Two Additional “Rock Star” Raptors:

When I visited McAlpine Creek Park on January 13th, I was lucky enough to come across two impressive Red-shouldered Hawks.

One of the two, in particular, struck numerous engaging poses, as I observed and photographed.

Today, I would like to share some of my favorite images of these two “Rock Star” Raptors from this outing.

Stay safe and have a great day!
